Juniperus horizontalis Blue Forest
A stunning low growing conifer with vivid blue foliage that turns deep blue with a purple tinge in Winter. The prostrate branches turn upwards giving a full appearance. A great ground cover for retaining walls, embankments, mixed conifer gardens and as a blue carpet underneath large deciduous trees.
Grows to 20cm high x 1.5m wide in the first 10 years.
Juniperus horizontalis Icee Blue
A spectacular ground hugging evergreen that creates a dense carpet of attractive silvery blue foliage. The foliage has an interesting scale-like appearance and develops a red tinge during the cooler months. Icee Blue is extremely hardy and will provide an exceptional fountain like appearance over retaining walls. Can be grown in full sun or part shade locations. A low maintenance shrub that will look its best without pruning.
Grows to 10cm high x 1.5m wide in the first 10 years.
Juniperus squamata Prostrata
A low spreading groundcover of very dense blue-green foliage, with apple green new growth. It will cascade down a bank or low wall and is effective when planted en masse under deciduous trees. A popular specimen for bonsai.
Grows to 20cm high x 2m wide in the first 10 years.
