Fast growing, dense conical tree of attractive green-gold foliage. The Leyland Cypress group are ideal as a windbreak, screen or trimmed hedge. Extremely hardy, doing well in the harshest conditions. Has a good tolerance to soil salinity. As with all Leyland Cypress, Castlewellan Gold must be trimmed to size when plants start to compete with each other to avoid stress on the trees.
